Default Improved party search

The party search is a nice feature but isn't used that much. It's still hard to find groups even if you don't look for some special quest. The problem is the search is very limited.

My suggestion would be:

enable to look for groups in all areas.
just enable all missions (including elite ares like the deep, UW2, UW dungeons and so on) you can access to be selected. Then let the players select what they want to do (multiple selection possible of cause). Maybe add the possibility to even select the quests you have or vanquishing areas.

Then you could look in multiple categories... for example that 23 players are willing to form a Urgoz team even if they are currently in lions arch selling stuff. Opening the Urgoz category would then show you the professions names and message as it is in the current party search.

This way it would be much easier to find people who want to do ANY dungeon just for fun. And it would be possible to be chatting in a crowded city while looking for a party instead of a completely empty mission outpost.

Right now if you run around looking for a dungeon group you have almost no chance to find other players because there is no common outpost.

Continent-wide Party Search would actually make the system worth using for stuff other than trading and common team farms/elite areas.

Also, the suggestion to increase how much of a description is allowed in Party Search would be nice. It's disappointing that it's not at least as long as what we can type into the normal chat bar.

Sounds like a really usefull tool.

At the least I think you should be able to see professions/names of the people in a party when you are going to join it.

I consider a centralized LFG solution to be the single most important thing GW PvE needs.

Essentially the goal is to make people able to find others wanting to do similar things at the same time and form teams. There are many possible ways to achieve that.

It could be a rework of the whole Party Search engine, a big expansion, allowing broadcasting of it to every town in every region (Eu/Am/Int..). It could include various options players looking for groups could set up for easier automated searching - a whole new interface with various options to select, where players could select what are they interested in doing, or they could manually type a short description.
A large overhaul of Party Search with making it truly global would be really really amazing and the best for us.

But there may be a much simplier way to achieve that, without making massive updates in server technology which may simply be not possible at this point. A solution using only the existing Party Search technology. It would need:

**One single place players would want to come to in order to find or make groups. It must be new and officially designed for this use and every player should know of its existance and purpose. This town should have only international districts to make the existing PartySearch reach all its districts. (up to 32 I believe, but it shouldn't ever get more)
There have been many suggestions about a large central PvE city, a place for events and one which could also have or be directly connected to Xunlai Marketplace for all centralized trading needs (2nd most needed thing, PartySearch sucks for trading, it's just not the way to do a trading solution).
At worst case even International districts of Great Temple of Balthazar could be used for that if properely advertised, but this needs to be fixed:

**An improved travelling interface to eliminate the need of going through a port city with smaller party limits than 8 (like LA or Kamadan) when changing continents - yes, it's just the matter of the interface - the game CAN already handle porting players or whole groups from anywhere to any other outpost, no matter which continent it's on!

**Change or add more possible grouping types to the PartySearch, at least in that chosen town. Everyone knows the current selections of Mission/Quest/Hunting... are quite useless. I bet that if there are already 5, there would be zero technical difficulty to up the number to at least 8. In one big grouping centre they could finally be of some use, just add "Vanquishing" and "Dungeons" there and maybe something else.

oh, and a huge

This is an awesome Idea, 100% agree with it, especially the trade message expansion (even if you just moved your mouse over their messgae and it displayed the whole thing), right now if you wanna trade, it's go to Dist 1 or gtfo.

Change the server name:
American district change to PvE multiplayer english 1,2,3,4, (other languages 1,2,3,4)
International District change to PvE solo players english 1,2,3,4, (other languages 1,2,3,4)
etc.

I guess you shouldn't mix american and european servers because it could cause some lags.

PS: PvE SOLO place sounds not exactly like the place i want to be (no teamplayers)

I like the ideas. Especially the one about expanding the amount of text you can see. Sometimes the person advertising adds in so many ***** or ~*, etc. that you can't even see what they intend to do.

More campaigns -> More outposts.
More outposts -> People spread more.
People spread more -> People find others to join harder.

Party search should be global, with REAL search features.
Each player should have a list of 5 'next tasks' they could set:
- 1 Quest
- 1 Mission
- 1 Elite mission.
- 1 Title
- 1 'other'.

And so, if you want to do quest X, you search ' quest x', and get all those that have set "I want to make quest X next" in their list.

i've noticed that if you go onto the party search and click 'join' it notifies the team in the chat window. if said team is in a crowded outpost this message can be missed.

however if you click on a the leader or any person in that team your name appears on the party screen which is much more noticeable.

so what i also propose, as an adition to your extended search facility, is if you click join in the party search, your name gets added to the party screen.

not sure if i got my idea across clearly...

Especially the party search needs big improvements as trade tool but more options to find parties on elite missions would be very welcome as well. This would be the solution for the always empty Urgoz/The Deep outposts.
